Our Story

Mariah and Edward met in 10th grade during guitar class at Thomson High School. They dated briefly while they were teens and broke up before graduation. Even though Eddie joined the Marine Corps and Mariah went off to college, they still kept in touch. One night in February 2021, they went out to dinner to catch up and have been together ever since. Five years later and it's time to get married!

Fun Fact: Meg is a kindergarten teacher, she works hard to educate the youth of America (LOL). She is also the life of every party!

Annie - Bridesmaid

Fun Fact: Annie is a bridal stylist and helped Mariah pick out her wedding dress!

Dress Code

SEMI-FORMAL

For guest attire, think garden party semi-formal. Colors like burgundy, emerald green, plum, navy, rust, mauve, and chocolate brown would complement the season well. The weather will likely still be warm outside (thank you, GA) and the ceremony is in a field. The ground will be uneven so the most important accessory to be mindful of is practical footwear. Please avoid blue jeans and reserve white for the bride only.

When is the deadline to RSVP?

We ask that you RSVP by September 27, 2026.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony will be outdoors, weather permitting. The reception will be held under a large tent.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there will plenty of room to park as the venue is Mariah's father's house. If you prefer to Uber, just put in address 1010 Tanyard Creek Drive, Thomson GA, 30824.

Should I bring a gift?

Just bring yourself, your presence on our special day is the most meaningful gift we could receive. We do not have a registry as we have already lived together for a few years and therefore have everything we need. If you feel so inclined, we do have a honeymoon fund set up for donations to go toward our honeymoon to Japan in 2027 - keep scolling to see link below. Are children allowed at the ceremony and reception?

We kindly request an adults-only celebration. That being said, we ask that you only bring those who are formally invited and included in your RSVP.
